Just got this for my two (ages 6 and 9) and honestly wasn't expecting much because we've been through about four different children's bibles at this point. But my youngest sat and read the whole of David and Goliath on her own the first night and then came downstairs to tell me about it. That has literally never happened. Ever. The illustrations are gorgeous and the language is actually at their level not just adult text with a cartoon slapped on. Really really pleased with this one 👏

My wife ordered this without telling me which is probably for the best because I would've said we don't need another bible collecting dust on the shelf. I was wrong. Our son is 7 and he's reading it every single night before bed. He actually asks for it. He told his nan about Moses at sunday lunch last week and she looked at me like who is this child 😂 best thing we've bought him all year honestly

bought this for my daughter after seeing an ad for it and nearly didn't because ive been burned before with "childrens" bibles that are just normal bibles with bigger font. this is completely different though. every page has got these beautiful illustrations and the stories are written so a child can actually follow them without getting bored or confused. shes 8 and she reads it on her own now without me having to sit there. even asked me if we could read more at the weekend. never thought id hear that 🙏
